    Bike broke down

Good day all - really strange one, popped into a garage to refuel. On restarting bike, turned on ignition and initially nothing, then the instruments spun into life after about 30 - 45 seconds but nothing worked, no indicators, horn and defo no ignition. Turned bike off several times and same result, did get a mate to come out and we put on jump leads but nothing? Have disconnected battery and put it on charge - original battery (2018bike) and will try tomorrow - any clues out there??

Original Motobatt batteries are garbage, and give up the ghost very unexpectedly, so could very well be that . . . .  although not seen your vid  . .

There have been reports of ignition switches failing, rare but sillier things have happened. My original BMW battery lasted just two weeks from new and dropped a cell....went lithium after that and not an issue since.

    Smithy.
