Hi - got a small coolant leak at the bottom of the engine from a small rubber breather below where the hose from the radiator connects to the block. Only seems to happen when the engine temp is +100 degrees. Small drip onto the exhaust collector box below rear brake lever. Any ideas what’s causing this please? Many thanks https://share.icloud.com/photos/02fhhJCvIAXWoVbNsoP6KKQ9A

As SimonUK suggests.....there's a multitude of threads on this issue.....It's very common, every second Gen-1 bike is usually afflicted with it...the only real fix is to replace the entire water pump....trouble is, even the new ones are also prone to leaking....There's people on here who have had multiple pumps fitted under warranty for very little result.

Or...you can fit one of these.:  https://www.hsbkracing.com/parts-and-apparel/bmw/s-1000-rr/engine/jetprime-bmw-s1000rr-xr-r-cnc-enlarged-water-pump-2009-to-2018/

When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather....not screaming like the passengers in his car..!
