I've bought an r1200rs for touring, solo and 2 up..  :001:

I'm stripping some bits from the xr and putting it back to standard trim, possibly for fun on my own but maybe sell if it doesn't get a lot of use.  :084:

I have the givi pannier quick release rack £100.00 mailed in the UK.

Narrower bars from a r1200r with risers £125 mailed UK (bars were £210.00 and risers around £30.00)

No alterations required, all xr bits fit directly on to the r1200r bars. 30minute job..  :028:

This won't be for everyone but in my opinion the riding position with this set up is more natural, neutral and for me less aggravating to my tennis elbow..

As you can see from the photo I fitted bar end mirrors, they are not included, neither are the bar end weights, just bars and risers.

Do you fancy splitting the tool box from the pannier racks?

I have the toolbox on my XR and I want one for my KTM, but already have the racks.

Understand if you can't be bothered :)

    Hi Bazzer

Give it a couple of days and if no one shows interest I'll take off and sell it to you.. not sure about a price but I'll make it worth while, not looking to get rich, just cover some bits needed for the rs..  :015: :001:

No worries, I don't mind mailing stuff, we have plenty of boxes at work and the post office is just a short walk away  :001:
