XR 2015 resetting the service light Help!!

Does anyone have the tool/android phone/app to reset my service light on the 2015  XR. Just hate paying £25 to bet it reset, it’s such a rip off. I live in Lincoln, will travel reasonably to get it reset. I service the bike myself, next oil service 1500 miles. Spark plug change, waiting for winter as big job. Fork oil change ? Does it need it?

ANYONE NEARER LINCOLN WITH A RESET TOOL?

Serviced my Forks on my 2015 in 2021 at 28k miles, they were pretty ok, I would've been fine leaving them for another 10-15k miles at this rate, fork oil doesn't do much work on this bike besides lubricating, in the left leg, and in the right leg where it does work it's doing light work. Worth changing just for peace of mind, assuming you have a spring compressor it's not a big job.

On the service light I live near Huddersfield and have the tool to reset but i reckon that might be beyond the reasonable distance, still if you can't find anyone let me know, though I reckon you petrol will be the same as getting a dealer to do it at that point.

Just get Motoscan and an OBDLink MX/LX and do it yourself....yes you need to pay for it, but you'll only pay for it once and need it again for your next services in years to come.

If Leeds, Crossgates, to be exact, is closer you could do it at my place, we're over due a coffee and a catch up..  :028:
