So I fitted a tail tidy on my xr  2023 model and because there’s no number plate light light on the new tail tidy. I now have a warning light telling me there’s a bulb out how do I get around this?

I don't think you can.  Possibly a diagnostic tool like the GS911 can turn it off but it might just come back on after a certain time.  That or possibly fabricating your own dongle for the light itself.  I've seen people do that for exhaust valve warning light issues.

you would need to install a resistor that mimics the load of the stock bulb.

A few years off yet, but you'll need a number plate light (& reflector) come your first mot. And an enthusiastic copper might give you a hard time before then.
Bet you got a smaller number plate too.  :001:

No number plate lights gonna cost you £100 quid and possible proabition which will either 'ground' your bike til fixed or force its repair in a short time span.

Plus you'll flag yourself up for stopping when a small number plate might be ignored under the cops 'discretion'.

    Therapy...

You'll never see a motorbike parked outside a psychiatrists.
