Tagging on to a different threat about re setting the service light, Antares, and davidallard21 popped over to my place Saturday morning, we talked bikes, camping and other stuff while Antares sorted the service light on both David's and my xr.

I rustled up my usual Saturday morning Bacon butties for us all and we had a break while we talked more bikes, touring etc.

David's bike done, he rode off and homeward bound  :158:

Antares stopped at mine and very kindly swapped the bars from my xr to my rs.. if you recall I fitted narrower bars from a r1200r to my xr. Than I bought the rs and it had old man bars fitted  :038: :008: so I, I say I, but I really mean Antares, re fitted the original bars to the xr and then fitted the r1200s bars to the 2017 rs.. err, confused?  :087: I was  :187: but, it all worked out well, no parts left over on the bench and the rs looks and feels great with the new bars fitted.

    Cheers Antares, much appreciated..

All i needed were the bar top clamps which I had rode over to BMW in York earlier in the morning to collect..  :028:

My partner's Son, Chris, turned up on his new to him Triumph speed triple, after just passing his test a couple of weeks back, so we continued to talk bikes for a couple more hours..

What a great way to spend a Saturday.. tinkering and talking bikes with my mates, other than actually riding, of course..  :007:
