Rear blinker replacement on the Gen1

    Dear All,

I plan to replace the rear blinkers on my 2016 Gen1 to the new type of blinker what is installed on the 2022 S1000R and regarding this I would have a question:

The new blinker has 4 pole, but I would connect the ground and the blinker to the original connector on the bike.
The additional brake light effect I would connect to the HEX EZ can (without the ground), and here would have the question.

Can generate a fault code on the bike when the blinker and the brake light operate parallel, given that the old original ground will provide the ground for the blinker and for the brake light aswell? Or the ground is not monitored in the CAN bus system?

I attached the drawing, maybe like this easier to understand.

    I would appreciate anytype of help/ideas.  :821: :821: :020: :020:

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    BR,
    Mark
