I went to the dealer to have my 20K service done. As soon as I got my bike back, I noticed that the fuel strip icons were more spread out than before.

that itself is obviously not a big deal to me, but upon closer inspection, I realize that the blank background bars are not aligned with the fuel bars at the correct angle.

I attempted to disable/enable the fuel strip function, which i thought could be due to a graphic error, but it did not work.

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing the same annoyance... Because it just might drive me crazy looking at it! o_O

I'm not sure what to think about this update since the software on my bike has been updated for the first time.

    This is only a Gen-2 thing...Gen-1's don't have a TFT.

Honestly I'm not really seeing what you're explaining but I never look at the screen long enough to notice things like that anyways.  I feel like these newer bikes with bigger more complex TFT screens are more of a distraction.  That's why I like the simpler old school look of the Gen 1 dash better than the Gen 2 TFT.

Here's a pic of mine if it helps.  I'm running 022_007_020.

That is what it used to look like before the update was done.

Unfortunately i've lost my ecu modded mapping because of the update as well. Already in the works of getting it back.

I must say, now that the updated factory mapping is on the ecu. I noticed the quickshifter is now as smooth or even smoother than the modded mapping.

My dealer just updated the ECU/TFT on mine and now I got that strange fuel strip too.
As for the fueling, experience is simillar to yours - much better quickshifer operation, especially blipper, and it looks like the fueling is now smoother at low rpm’s and light loads.

Here are the pics of my fuel strip and TFT software version

Oh yeah...I can see what you guys are talking about a lot more clearly in your pics.  Think I'll be skipping that update.  :001:

Re fuelling I think they might have nicked the update that's in the MY2024 bikes a little ahead of release to put on the old gens too. Sort of a mid gen refresh like they did with the 1290 SDGTs where pre 2019s could get the suspension update that came with the 2020 models.
