180 HP, titanium sub-frame, carbon bits, Multistrada RS got announced today. Although its pricing will make the M seem like a good deal.

The M is likely going to be somewhere around 21-22k, the multistrada pikes peak is already more and imo that bike is only a little better than the standard XR for the advertised role, albeit a fair bit more premium.

    It would be a great price £21-22K, for the M1000XR......but I think you're dreaming....It'll be at least £25k....IMO.  :087

I just bought an XR knowing the M and probably an updated S were inbound, but got it with the deposit contribution and a hefty amount off list. Had I waited for the new model I’d be looking at the thick end of £5K more just for the S, and if the new XRs are anything like the 1300GS then I’ll be even more content. I’m no Luddite but I have no use for adaptive cruise, both my bikes have a perfectly acceptable ride height without auto lowering and I already have blind spot monitoring - it’s called the lifesaver over the shoulder check.  :002:

The adaptive cruise control and the auto lowering, will most likely be optional extras, as they are on the R1300GS.

I'm going with 27k USD for the non-competition version and an even 30k USD for the comp.

Going off of the M1000R's price in relation to the XR, XR TE is about 2k more than the R Sport (it was less a little earlier this year.

So given the M1000R is 19.5 I think 22k maybe 23k is what i'd expect.
