    Shifter peg adjustment

2020 S1000 XR.   Just installed a set of Puig Enduro foot pegs for increased stability between road and some light off-road work.  These pegs (more like platforms) are slightly high than the OEM pegs, making it more difficult to slip my toe under the shifter.    Does anyone know if the shift pedal position can be raised slightly higher without screwing up the QuickShifter linkage/settings?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks,  Lance

Just pop the linkage connector (the bit with the black rubber housing) to the pedal out and spin the connector the required number of times to change pedal height, then pop it back on. Job done  :002:

Thanks for the quick reply.  Unfortunately "just popping" out the linkage doesn't make any sense.  When I pull the rubber dust cover down from the electronic component at the top of the long connecting shaft, nothing pops out.    There is a ball joint at the bottom end directly connected to the shift lever, and a threaded nut close to it, but nothing just pops out.

Would really appreciate some more detail as to how to remove that linkage.

    Apologies for my ignorance,   Lance

Is it the same as the previous model?
