Very nice, I can see why it would be high up the list of favourite roads..   :020:

I make a point of riding this road almost every time I'm in Southern Spain . Think I've done it about 15 times , usually going up the hills out of Málaga.  I really enjoy it. I've never thought of it as dangerous but I guess that's subjective. TBH I would probably think it's more dangerous if I was in car.  :005:

    Awesome road.
Marbella - Alozaina - Yunquera -Burgo -Ronda -Marbella, some of the most famous curves around. I´m lucky enough to live right here and can ride them whenever I want.

    OP, where are you from?

The roads certainly look great !

I've never been that far south, but perhaps need to have a look at that for 2025 - a combined Picos / Southern spain trip.

I've been down to the Pyrenees around 4 times, but it was only this year that I discovered some fantastic roads on the Spanish side (out of the mountains) - empty, fantastic road surface and curves.

Go west into Asturias then south to Ponferrada for some great roads with little traffic. Then work your way down through the Sierras north & west of Madrid. I got as far as the Sierra de Gredos this year before I had to head back north. I was still 350 miles short of reaching the Med coast.

    Thanks for the pointer, Wessie

Had a quick look on google maps, picked a few roads at random for streetview - those are some seriously-good roads down south.

I'd want to pack super-light for heading on a tour down there.
