    ready to pounce

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new s1000xr. I tried out a new one with the M-package and premium package. Loved the bike but was too tall for me. I have been building my own on the Motorad configurator. When I add the low suspension with the M-package it says it will remove the M-Package. Only does this in the 2024 model. It will accept the low package with the M-package in the 2023 model. It will accept the low package w/o the m-package in other 2024 configurations. Is BMW deleting the low suspension with the m-package for 2024?

As specifications can vary from market to market it might be best to check with your local BMW dealer who , in theory 😁, should have the most up to date information.

I agree with Diavel, but for what it's worth its the same in the UK market configurator.  I ordered my 2023 XR TE that was built in May with M-Package and seat height reduction (shorter suspension) but when I try this in the configurator today, adding the latter removes the former.

Thanks for the responses. I have asked 2 different BMW dealers and they are running the question up the chain of command and waiting for an answer from the powers to be.

Lets us know the resolution.  I understood that the ride height was customizable.

Finally one of the dealers I contacted got back to me. As of right now you can't order the S1000XR with M-Package and low suspension. You can get the low seat only. He went on to say that the rep said they were trying to go back to what we could do in 2023. But wouldn't have that option until after the first of the year. It doesn't sound to me like IF it's an option that it would be available to take delivery in early spring. Anyone have any idea how long between order and delivery to customer?

I'm thinking if the first run start showing up in April. I want something that won't be available to order until after Jan 1st. I'll be lucky to see it by the middle maybe even late in the riding season. I found a dealer about 160 miles away that has a 2023, that is exactly what I want, that is in transit. I gave them a deposit on that one. It will be a 23, but I will have it before I need it. That seems like the better option for me. Buying a new BMW is a different experience than I use to. lol
