    Turn canceling blinkers

Had these on my 2021 XR. After turn, the blinker would turn off automatically. My 2023 doesn't either have it, or it isn't working, but neither is my active headlamp too.

Has the blinker cancelling feature been removed for 2023?

it seems that the 2023 1250RS bikes are shipped from the factory with the software set for maximum time delay and auto cancel switched off. I was at the dealer today and he stated that the only way to change that is to log in to the ecu software and update the parameters and switch it on. When I left the dealers it still didn't work but I found a setting under the Lights section within the Setup menu that also had to be switched on. It now works on my RS. Maybe it's the same software on the new XR?

Thanks @bobdave!! I went into my lights settings and turn on the "Comfort turn indicator". I'll try to ride soon to see if that was the issue.

That's modern bikes for you. Too many bloody options. Had a scan through my menus when I first got the Gen 2 and to be honest have no idea what most of it does.

I could look in the manual of course but being a bloke that's not really an option.

In the old days it was a throttle to control going forward and a brake lever to control stopping. I now have to make 55 bloody decision every time I go for a ride.

Just set everything to fastest and enjoy.
