Got my new GSA
« on: September 17, 2016, 10:55:35 PM »
Got it last Friday. 300 miles on last Sunday, 320 today, ready for the first service on Friday.

It's very different to the XR.

Ha!  I'm sure it is.

They are a great beast.  I love my GS.

I'm going the other way leaving a heavy but great GSA behind for the 4.7 odd stone lighter. I dont do long Europa tours or off tossing any more so a bike like Xr I'm hoping will fill the slot. Mine comes Wednesday at the moment that could change. Being in NI I'm at the mercy of Nth Oxford.

My mates just chopped in his 500 mile transalp for a new GSA, loves it, he's a buggar for changing bikes like nobody else I know though. Looks good  :152:

Thanks guys. It's a great contrast to the XR, and is perfect for those longer days in the saddle, when I want to ride down rougher roads, and not be aching at the end of each day!

Great looking bike, Rich. I saw one in the flesh at the local dealership last week and I was really impressed. If you had to have just one bike, would it be the XR or GSA, and why?

Just dropped my XR off for its first service.

My dealer can't get enough GSAs.  There were two being prepped in the workshop.

It would probably be the GSA, as I suffer from back issues, and 300 mile days are more comfortable.
