Garmin 390 LM Sat nav mount
on: October 10, 2016, 10:58:24 PM
Hi
I've just joined after picking up my XR last week.
Im trying to find out if it's possible to mount my current Garmin 390 lm onto the factory Garmin mount supplied. I appreciate its set up for the more expensive navigator V unit.
The mounting holes on my current 390 do not align up with the factory Garmin mount.
Any ideas how I can over come this?
Many thanks
Tim

To mount your Zumo 390, or any other from the Zumo 3XX series, directly to a BMW NAV V or Zumo 5XX holder you will need an adapter plate.
The adaptor plate rotate the bolts from the horizontal to the vertical orientation like your 3XX Zumo needs.

I've got one lying around from my previously owned Zumo 350.
But the adapter plate can be seen and bought here:

No idea if they ship abroad......

Thanks for your help. I couldn't open the link but another person suggested an alternative which I've gone for. Regards
