Anyone try these:

I've read some positive things about these but haven't seen much on the above:

Considering that the XR has been out nearly 2 years and can only be a few months away from the first bikes being out of warranty I'm amazed at how long it is taking some aftermarket companies to bring products to the market and I include Pazzo in that bunch,I have such on my K1200r and it transformed it so untill I see their offering for the XR all bets are off when it comes to levers.

Do some of the aftermarket levers cause problems on the XR?

Trawl through the various posts and there have been some issues even with the optional BM levers.

The problems are caused by the clutch cam not releasing the two micro switches correctly. This is despite the cam being transferred from the original lever to the new lever !!

I put a set of Syntos on my XR, works great with no issues. Install was easy and the only thing you need to do it take the little thingy off the stock clutch lever that touches the micro switches, and put it on the Synto. It will be obvious how it works and how to put it on.  I'm no mechanic and took maybe 5 minutes to put both levers on. The small piece you take off the stock clutch will need a really small Torx, I don't recall the size.

Hey Ant, did you install the Synto Evo or the standard Synto levers?

Standard (I think) they were the long ones with the adjust dial.
