Akrapovic Slip On - Not huge gains in power
on: June 23, 2015, 08:34:45 AM
Even tho the Akro looks sexy, is a bit lighter than stock ( 1.5kg lighter ) and sounds a bit better there is not much to be had in terms of power  :012:...see graph below;

And here in the States they want $1200.00 for the slip on can!!!  Ouch!  They would need to give me lots more ponies for that kind of money.  Can't imagine what an entire system would cost!!   :156:

Hi Mate...I've found it for 546 GBP over here.....still its a lot of money for little gains.....rather spend my money on crash protection, etc... :087:

Yep, and the first thing I invested in is both radiator and oil cooler protectors.  With that shorty fender the last thing I would want is a dinged oil cooler or radiator fins out on the road.   :305:

Not sure that I'd trade the short fender look for an extended fender.  Hoping the black rad/cooler guard will add to the appearance overall and protect the investment.   :305:

Carbon fender extender is a work of art, gonna make the mat black mudguard look like poo! Maybe a carbon guard next on list?
