Parts are available for retro fit at no charge.
Bike booked in for Monday plus new back tyre.
I thought I would get it done while they are a bit quieter.
Probably won't get a chance to test it 'til the better weather as the roads
are covered in crap.

Thats who I use so I will give Brian a call today to get mine done   :028:

Thanks for the email about your BMW S1000XR.

Email reply from BMW . We should be reimbursed for extra cost i.e. petrol time , cost of fitting aftermarket bar ends...
I’m pleased to advise you that details of a quality enhancement for the retro fitment of the modified handlebar rubbers used on the 2017 model has been agreed and the details released to the network.

The best thing to do is contact your local Motorrad Centre so they can book you in for this work.

If there’s anything else I can help you with please let me know.

Just booked my bike in for its 12K service (in march ) and was told that the anti vibe bits will be fitted.

Service manager and i had a good chat about it and he says it is to all intents and purposes just a different compound rubber thing between the bars and yolk

My bike hardly vibes any way so will see if i can notice a difference
You tell me how fast I was going Officer !
