Nah, didn't you see Dunlop on an NT1100 as well?

They're great all around bikes. Not the fastest or the have a cult following like the R6, but it looks great and is perfect for what I am wanting, a fun track bike.

Being that they are 15 years old now, you won't see many on the road. I plan on keeping this bike till I can't ride anymore, or hand over to my son if he decides he wants to ride.

Superstock bikes are pretty much showroom bikes with a few safety mods.

Aside from the RR/XR - The Superstocks, I believe - are not as 'showroom' as people think or used to be.

I'd need to see the regs, but that is my appreciation.

Great looking bike - I've not looked at the CBR600RR for a long time - there aren't too many on the UK roads, it seems

Maybe they have all decended to track bikes now.   I don't see many R6 or Ninja 636 either now (although I was talking to a lad with a ninja 600 last weekend).

Great fun bikes!

Additional pops and bangs made me smile and the firmer ride was good too. Scenario was:

Going uphill on a long stretch to a junction on a country road, decent amount of space, good clear view. Car in front was plodding on a bit so I started to go past. The dick decided to speed up, I was in 4th and pinned it.

The bike got  serious wobble in at the front,I sh#t myself a bit but all was good.

Question is. Was this the anti wheelie kicking in or am I just a sh#t rider. You don't need to be too honest on that last bit..
Up hill all the weight on the rear, hit a bump in 4th, easy enough to get the front to lift away, likely came down at an angle and steering damper covered the rest. Sounds like a normal day out to me.

Great story, except the part your mate passed away.  :003: But a good ending and a fine owner, and home, for the Honda..  :028:
Thanks. Sad but I know Slaps is smiling knowing I now own the bike.

The bike came with OEM fairings and his old track fairings that are pretty beat up. Not sure if I want to continue riding with them, fix them and make them look pretty or sell them for super cheap and give the bike a new look.

I was surprised also, rumours of Moto GP etc, never once imagined him signing for BMW.
Would love to see them at the pointy end but think its a way off yet. Need someone to take on that pesky bautista!
WSBK was my favourite watch but since Bautista has run away with it its not the same .

I would dearly love one but to be honest, the 165BHP I already have, most are left in the stables.... :006:

I would look good on one though I reckon...... :008:
