Well after sitting on the fence and lurking around here since a test ride back in May I've put a deposit on a very lightly used grey S1000XR SE.
Coming from a 2012 Multistrada 1200S to my first ever BMW.
My wife said she never thought she would see the day I bought a BMW!
Bit of a change after 20 years or so on vee-twins and I did find it a it buzzy and frantic, but also incredibly tractable. A mate who has one has dropped 2 or 3 teeth off the rear sprocket and claims it ha transformed it. Let's hope he's right!
Anyone else done the same?
